I've had the T100TA-C1 for over a year now, and my wife has had hers for 1.5 years. These are the best laptops ever, and I've owned many.
Note that I called this a laptop, and that is on purpose. I don't really regard this as a tablet because the operating system is a full version (ie, uncrippled) and because of the keyboard. If you are looking for a pure tablet, then this is a good model but may be more than what you are wanting.
I use this as a laptop with several engineering programs, school work, and general internet and media. While not the most powerful laptop I've had, it is the fastest, most mobile, boots the fastest and is the most user friendly, which gives it my award for "best laptop I've ever had."
Reliability has been great. I've never had a problem with hardware or software. Regular programs run fine, but intense processing requests will slow it down. I play high end games (FSX, Steelbeasts, etc), and never tried them on this laptop - I would expect they would blow out the processor and memory. Those are best left to the desktop.

I work as an IT manager and have owned mine for about 3 months now. The build quality is good not great but it truly does not matter especially if you get a case for it. The performance is great with GIMP, PhotoShop or Inkscape. I always have Chrome running with about 2-6 tabs open, VisualStudio 2012, TeamViewer, Evernote and a few random other applications. I have honestly never had it slow down because of what I am working on. The quad core Baytrail is very impressive and the battery is great at 8 - 11 hours. After upgrading to windows 10 preview I saw a performance boost, less memory usage and hard drive space (removed recover partition). I have found that using modern apps is actually useful on Windows 10 as well. In all honesty my experience with 8.1 was not good but once I did a clean install of Windows 10 it was a different tablet. The keyboard is great and I often connect and disconnect it while running to users PCs to help them. I connect it to a full display and i amazed how well windows scales everything from my 20 inch monitor back down to this 10 inch with not lag. I am convinced the other reviewers are for a different T100A model (which there are like 6 different ones) because I have pushed this thing to its limits and even ran games like TF2 at 60 FPS. It is the best tablet for the price no question. I was going to get a Surface Pro 3 but I honestly just don't need it now. The only bad thing I can say is the actual touch screen is not great for touch games in the apps store but you will not notice any issues with windows or modern applications it works just fine for that.
